New York Pizza Tour to Brooklyn and Coney Island

This post we’re doing a New York pizza tour of Brooklyn. Yes, I’m going to be your personal ambassador, today. As I take you places and I teach you things, and I show you stuff that even Brooklynites don’t know about. Alright, we’re going into Grimaldi’s, and we get to skip the line. In Brooklyn, you can’t sell lousy pizza and expect to stay in business. Brooklynites won’t tolerate that. We want people to really experience these places as a true Brooklynite. It’s Neopolitan Margarita style. Nice work. Alright, round one was delicious, but we gotta save some room for round two, let’s go. The Manhattan bridge. The longest suspension bridge out of the three that take you from Brooklyn to Manhattan. I think I really enjoyed seeing Dumbo section of Brooklyn because I had heard so much about it.

That was really interesting. Alright, next stop L&B Spumoni Gardens. Alright so, this time it’s Sicilian pizza. It’s got a thicker crust. Sauce on top of the cheese. The bread is nice and soft. Good pizza, really, really, good pizza. Oh, oh, Sicilian pizza, my favorite, but we gotta hop on the bus again and head to Coney Island. Alright, we’re here at Coney Island, the last stop. We’re gonna take a walk along the boardwalk and work off some of that pizza. My favorite part of the day was going under the boardwalk. Beautiful day to be there. It was really awesome, I’ve been living in Brooklyn for eight years, and really I learned a lot. There’s some neighborhoods that I’ve never been to. Great tour, I’m gonna have that tonight at home, awesome. That was a lot of fun. I leaned so much about Brooklyn. And the pizza was so good. I got some to go. Amazing day in Brooklyn. August first, 2005 after 20 years in Brooklyn.

New York Pub Crawl

Now, I fancy a drink, so I’m going on a guided pub tour of New York to find out why it’s called “the city that never sleeps”, let’s go. Deer, a female deer Ray, a drop of golden sun That place was so cool, I’ve never seen anything like it. There’s a piano in the bar, people were singing Broadway show tunes, it was wild! I didn’t wanna leave. But it’s time to go to the next bar. Now, this one’s got a funny name. A Peculiar Pub. Let’s go check it out. Cause you don’t usually get a bar where you can explore and find different art on different walls, and this is all made of bottle caps. I’m looking around, I’m seeing hearts, I’m seeing Egyptians, I’m seeing everything! It’s really cool. We’ve got an awesome night so far, people are partying on the street, it’s going wild out here, but now it’s time to go to the final bar. Now this is what I’ve been waiting for, we’ve made it to a really iconic bar in New York, it’s called Cafe Wha? and it’s where Jimi Hendrix had his first gig, can you believe it? Bob Dylan’s played here. You name them, they’ve played here. Unfortunately, we can’t post inside, but you can imagine if only the walls could talk. So, the tour’s over, but I’ve had an amazing night, I’ve made new friends, I’ve had to call drinks, and I’ve been to some amazing bars, singing, dancing. The night’s still young, and I’m going out.
