OIL CREEK STATE PARK MAP PENNSYLVANIA
7,007 acres. Located in northwestern Pennsylvania, this state park has ! hilly terrain with hardwood and hemlock forests, swamps, and a number of creeks. Included are 12 miles of Oil Creek, a large and scenic stream.
Activities: There’s a 36-mile loop trail for hiking and backpacking. The trail runs along both sides of Oil Creek. Some 15 miles of additional trails are available for cross-country skiing in winter. Canoeing is possible on Oil Creek, and fishing is another option. Hunting is permitted in a portion ! of the park.
Camping Regulations: Camping is restricted to two designated camping areas which are located along the main trail. Each area has several shelters. Reservations must be made through the park office prior to using the sites. Maximum stay allowed at each camping area is one night.
