Raffles Hotel Singapore

Stamford Raffles was the founder of modern Singapore and today we’re tracing his footsteps at his landing site. Raffles saw such great potential in this area he made an agreement with the Sultan to start free trade. Raffles Hotel is Singapore’s oldest hotel, it’s also the most well-known icon. It’s time for the famous High Tea here at the Raffles Hotel, and they’ve started us with some sandwiches, some cakes, and some tarts, and of course some tea. Heavenly. The Long Bar here at the Raffles Hotel was where the Singapore Sling was created. You have to try one of these.
