The Ritz-Carlton Naples

Brian and I met through work; I was selling apparel, and he was buying it! Even before he proposed over a romantic Central Park picnic, we knew we wanted a beach wedding. Our dream was to have our family and friends together in a beautiful, tropical location for a weekend of celebration.

The Ritz-Carlton, Naples was perfect for our May 16, 2015, I do’s. The Ritz-Carlton’s planners were the masterminds behind our event. We live in New York City, so we needed people we could count on to execute our breezy, bohemian vision. All of our 86 guests stayed at the hotel, where we spent our days golfi ng, hanging out at the pool, enjoying the spa and relaxing on the beach. The day before the wedding, we hosted a casual beach party at the resort, complete with our favorite sub sandwiches from Publix, the grocery store.

That night, we had a cocktail party in the hotel’s tea garden, followed by dinner at The Turtle Club. Since I had 12 bridesmaids, we took over the resort’s salon to get ready. After sipping champagne with the girls and getting my makeup done by MeToo Makeup, I headed out to the beach for the ceremony. We had a bit of a rain delay but were still able to wed in the sand as planned. I was so overwhelmed with joy, walking through the rows of all the people we love so much. Our cocktail hour and reception were held at The Ritz-Carlton’s two-story beach house. The Bitton Events band had everyone dancing until morning. Keri Visconti Feeney, as told to Allyson Reedy
