Jazz aficionados have been making this cafe a regular stop for years. Renovated in 95, Scullers now boasts better viewing and acoustics, along with its cozy, candle-lit atmosphere. The club showcases some of the best jazz acts on the national circuit every week from Tuesday through Saturday evenings. Tickets may cost as much as $24, but depending on the show, some tix are more like $6 to $10. Tuesday nights offer only one set (oh, you early-to-bed Boston crowds!), but Wednesdays through Saturdays give you two for your money. Scullers has a full bar; they also offer music/dinner combination deals at prices from $33 to $38 on Friday and Saturday nights.
