Vatican Museums at Night with Dinner and Sistine Chapel Photo Gallery
So, dinner is a three-course meal. We started off with pasta. Now, we’re into the second course. Veal or chicken with potatoes. That’s the first step. Michelangelo started the work later, 30 years later, at the beginning of the 16th century. So, right behind me is St. Peter’s Basilica. It looks so beautiful at night time the way that its lit up, and we’ve got the best view right before we go into the Vatican museums. Wow, check out these tapestries on the wall.
They’re massive. It’s giant rug for your living room. We are about to enter the Sistine Chapel. The Renaissance master Raphael painted this suite of rooms for the Pope in the 16th century. As you’re walking through the museums, if you look out the window, the Vatican is lit up so beautifully at night. It’s breathtaking. So, you’ve reached the conclusion of our tour. What a gorgeous way to see the Vatican at night.
