Built in the 16th century here on Henley Street in Stratford-upon-Avon.
This is believed to be the home of William Shakespeare, and has become a mecca for lovers of literature. The man himself, William Shakespeare. There’s this really great exhibition where they have all sorts of different artifacts, and items and memorabilia that profile Shakespeare’s legacy.

Alright, let’s make our way into the birthplace garden. It’s almost like out of a fairy tale. O Romeo, doff thy name, and for that name that is no part of. Shakespeare is the most renown playwright in history. He’s known all over the world, and here we are standing in his garden, his birthplace. Wow, and this would have been the room that he was born? This is the very room, yes. Wow , that’s really neat.
If you find yourself coming back to Stratford, make sure you stop by the Royal Shakespeare company to see a show. They have a little market set up so come down and do some shopping, all sorts of different things to buy.
Time for a quick bite and it’s not everyday you get to sit and enjoy your lunch on the River Avon. I’ve had truly a lovely day, and now we head back to London.
