Its smooth, curved shape was yellowed with age and appeared to be quite old. Based on the size and shape, it seemed fairly certain it was not the skull of a domestic animal, like a dog or cat, nor even a cow or pig. But whether or not it was human, primate or something else was anyone’s guess. Mark had never had it examined by a professional.
