Just beyond Pannell’s Cottage on the right, turn Brasilia Map Tourist Attractions off to the right to visit The Cottage; note the shed painted with flowers and a tiny Brasilia Map Tourist Attractions enclosed cottage garden. When I visited in May, this contained a riot of forget-me-nots. Beyond, look straight ahead to a wall and weathervane, behind which is the cream-walled Rosemary Cottage, while to the right and below is Holly Cottage guarded by plentiful greenery.
Back on the High Street, you pass a fine array of white houses including Westbury, Bradleys and the half-timbered Corral; opposite is Tiffins tearoom with its red-painted interior walls and low beams. It is perhaps a little too early in the walk to be thinking of refreshment, but if you do feel you have deserved it, you will not be disappointed. On my first visit to the tearoom I spotted a very tempting array of cakes on display and was on the point of making my selection only to be told in no uncertain terms that they were not for consumption as they were too old.
