I’m psyched for this afternoon, why? Well, because I’m gonna go to the Eiffel Tower. So let’s get going. This baby is tall. It’s actually 1,050 feet to be exact. And for 40 years it was the tallest building in the world until the Chrysler building was built in New York City in 1930. The Eiffel Tower is certainly beautiful from ground level. But now it’s time to go up. Let’s go! You have a view of everything. You can see the church over there at Montmartre, the Seine River, the boats going around, and all the people look like ants. It’s a beautiful clear day. I love it up here. This is so cool. You can see all the skeleton and the innards of the Eiffel Tower. But what I love most about it are these giant green fields all beneath it. And there’s people having picnics and kids playing. And it’s just really nice recreational place where people from all over the world are just hanging out and having a good time.

Paris – Montmartre
I’m psyched for this afternoon. Why? Well because I’m gonna go to Montmartre, so let’s get going. Montmartre is like the cool, hipster, bohemian place. There’s artists everywhere just doing their artwork right in front of you, and back in the day this is where Picasso, Monet, and Dali used to hang out and make their masterpieces. So this whole neighborhood is for the artists. This place is beautiful. This is actually a hill, it’s the tallest hill here in Paris at about 130 feet above sea level. There is a beautiful view of the city, all the people are sitting on the steps there just having lunch, having a great time, and this place is where you wanna hang out if you come to Montmartre.
Paris – Small-Group French Cooking Class
Well today, we’re gonna take my wife on a cooking tour of Paris, cooking class, we’re gonna go to market, and we’re gonna cook an entire meal and eat it. We are making a zucchini salad. This is a starter. And we will slice them very thinly to be cooked by the lemon. Nice job! We are pushing the flour into the butter to make crust for the quiche. And then we’re having delicious dessert, an apricot pastry. One smooth circular cut, and then coring out the pit. We are cooking onions, and after that we will add smoked bacon. We will mix with egg, creme fraiche and grated cheese. Everybody’s participating, we’re all together, we bought all the fresh ingredients for this delicious meal and I just know it’s gonna be wonderful. And we’re placing it into the crust that we just made. The next step, I believe, is to bake it. And then it’ll come out all cheesy and good. Mmm! When you prepare a dish, it’s a question of harmony. It makes a good ambiance, you drink a good wine, you eat, it’s much more than cooking. We put our blood, sweat and tears into this dish, and it just tastes fabulous.
