Sacred Valley Pisac and Ollantaytambo tour from Cusco Peru Photo Gallery
This beautiful, colorful, bustling market town is called Pisac, and this place is known for all of its different varieties of things you can buy and sell. The people from the entire valley come here to sell their goods. It’s all brightly colored. It’s all beautiful. Alpacas are famous all over Peru and they have this really soft fur, and they make sweaters and blankets out of them.
You can see the stuff, most of the market is made of alpaca and they also eat this, so you can find it sometimes on the menus at local restaurants. A few steps down from the alpaca farm is the actual place where they create the table runners and all the cloths and fabrics. It’s absolutely beautiful. We are now at Ollantaytambo. And this place is absolutely stunning.
It’s an ancient Incan town and we’re gonna climb 200 steps all the way to to the top of these old ruins. Let’s go. You gotta earn the view to the top. Little by little, all the way up. Then you’re rewarded with this. Check that out. This has been a perfect day. I got to learn all about the ancient Incans. Check out some markets and now finish it off in this beautiful Sacred Valley.
