So, you might not qualify here to travel by luxury jet or megayacht; but, you can still have the “once in a lifetime (luxury travel) experience”; for, splurging on something you cannot normally afford allows you – in such instance – to feel like you are living the life of a sheik, a prince, princess, queen, king or celebrity.
I did! When I slept at the Fallsview Casino Resort, Niagara Falls, Canada one night a few years ago; or, indulged in a pricey dinner in a special gourmet restaurant while on a cruise; or, arrived in Monaca; or, stood in awe as I viewed Lake Louise, Glacier Bay, the Panama Canal locks in operation, the Leaning Tower of Pisa or the Eiffel Tower.
You know what it feels like just knowing that you visited Paris, the “City of Love” and the “City of Light”? Someone wrote, “…Paris is the city of love, even for the birds”.

The internet says “Paris is famous for being a global fashion hub, and it is also known for its world-renowned cuisine (and) for many of its attractions, including the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, The Louvre and Moulin Rouge”.
Just walking the 230 foot wide, 1.2 mile long Avenue des Champs-Elysees is both a feat and a thrill in itself. Dining on a crowded sidewalk, eating couscous – claimed to be the renowned third favourite dish of the French – can be a very exciting experience.

To me, Le Gay Paris – joyful Paris – needed a good sandblasting; but, it still retained much of its old, reputed charm. The Seine River that flowed through it bustled with boat tours; crowded bridges connected the streets on both banks; street musicians and portrait artists were everywhere; and, the packed multi-floor disco rocked at night.
