New York City – 911 Memorial and Ground Zero Walking Tour

You know, a lot of sightseeing tour is about fun and excitement. But today is gonna be a little bit different. This post I’m gonna take a tour of Ground Zero and the 9/11 Memorial. This beautiful building right behind me is Tower One. It is formerly called The Freedom Tower. And it is not exactly where the old towers were. But we are standing right now in Ground Zero. I thought the tour was absolutely fantastic, very informative. Learned a lot about the World Trade Center and everything with 9/11 itself, more than what you heard on the news and things like that.

It was absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend it. The tour guide, Tony, he actually took us around, and he actually experienced it on the day. It was very moving, and I really recommend it to anybody who comes to New York. This beautiful waterfall behind me is a reflective absence. And what it does is it reflects the absence from all the buildings that used to be here. Being on this tour brings back all the memories I felt on 9/11. And what’s more heartwarming than anything is how the City of New York has come together and built this beautiful monument.

New York City – 4th of July Fireworks Viewing Party

Tonight we’re celebrating the nation’s birthday. We’re at a special 4th of July fireworks viewing party here overlooking the Hudson River. Wow, this is so much fun. They’ve got tons of food, tons of beverages, a DJ, ah, this is just the perfect way to celebrate the 4th of July. This is the best place to come and read the fireworks. You’re on the water; you’re on the pier. You’re away from everybody else. You’re in your own special zone. We’ve got the Manhattan skyline behind me, and in front, you’ve got the barges where they’re launching the fireworks in just a few minutes. Cheers! Happy 4th of July! Wow. This has been such a magical night. I’m gonna remember this for a long time.
