Caddo National Grassland (17,796 acres) has a mix of public and private lands, with three lakes and a recreation area. Deer and wild turkey are among the wildlife found here.

Activities: Hiking, backpacking, and horseback riding are allowed, but aside from a couple of established trails, most travel must be on roads, old paths, or cross-country. Limited fishing is available. Hunting is permitted in season.

Camping Regulations: Camping and campfires are allowed throughout the National Grasslands, except near recreation areas or where otherwise prohibited. No permits are necessary.
